Bifen XTS on Cool Season Lawn

Post by Casutherland » July 6th, 2017, 9:19 am

Hey guys,

Recently I have noticed an increases of bugs around the lawn. We have had quite a bit of rainfall, and many have begun to surface. I purchased some Bifen XTS on sale a few months ago, so have quite a bit on hand. I know that this is an oil based insecticide, so I was wondering if this is safe to apply to my lawn during the summer months?

Also, can this be tank mixed with herbicide, or would they have a negative effect on each other? Really need to put out some Triclopyr as well.

Thanks!

Yes. I do not see anything specific to tall fescue/kbg turf. My guess is that I should not apply this above 80 degrees, and preferably in the morning or late evening.
