Impressive improvement!!

You're in the Sweet Spot for pH. No Lime. Organic matter is great at 5%+. No complaints.

In the cations, Potassium remains short. 2 lbs/K of Sulfate of Potash (SOP) monthly for the growing season.

Phosphorus is plentiful.

Iron is on the low side. Ferrous Sulfate at 2-3 lbs/K is the solution, and/or Milorganite as your Nitrogen source (it has Iron in a naturally-chelated form).

In the micro's, it's only Boron that needs attention - 3 tablespoons/K of Twenty Mule Team laundry soap every 60 days as outlined in the Micronutrient Application Guide is the solution.

For Nitrogen, Urea at 2 lbs/K monthly or Milorganite at bag rate monthly (adds Iron as above) works - or alternate them by month.

I'm suitably impressed!!

Thanks andy.
I'm a little impressed myself! :yahoo:
I'm going to go the milorganite route monthly for the low iron. (I have a source).
I will mix the twenty mule team borax with it.
SOP I usually get the granular from Kelp4less but I noticed they only have powder.
I'll check them again. Otherwise I will have to get the 5 lb bags locally.
No lime?
Wouldn't you know I bought some a few weeks ago thinking I might need it.
OM, it's from my neighbors maple trees and another neighbor's gigantic oak tree leaves.
They all blow in my yard every year. I use to curse. Not so much now.

Back yard is a work in progress. I'm filling all the sink holes etc and plan on seeding in August.

Thanks again andy

I just ordered some last week--There was no mention of it not being in stock... I see it is listed in two places--I assume (hope) they both are the same!
