Weed ID for FL Parents

Post by JHazzardB » January 29th, 2020, 1:15 pm

Hey guys! I humbly come to the Warm Season section with a picture from my mom. She's down near Sarasota, FL and has this weed that is spreading all over. They have St. Augustine grass which it has started growing in and then spreading into her flower beds. To me, it looks like a little sedum like I'd buy at the store. Her lawn person said sometimes RU would work with a surfactant but other than that there wasn't anything he could do. I'm skeptical. I'll try to get a better picture with a closeup in a bit. I thought it was moneywort for a bit, but doesn't have the same growing pattern. Can anyone ID it and suggest a chemical thats safe for Augustine? Thanks in advance everyone!

Is it an area where she could spray? And does she happen to have St Augustine?
