July 31, 2021

Starting a little earlier than last year, last years was ok but REGRET buying seed from the easy to buy from online site that is frequently said to avoid….dumb dumb dumb

(I am not following the best practices of a renovation....so be easy on me)

Backyard, mostly shady, TTTF, approx 2700 sq ft

Temporary fence set up (2 dogs) 7/30
Red cap round up with tracker sprayed 7/31
Seed from Hogan
20% GTO
20% Michelangelo
20% Paramount
20% Rebuilder
20% Firewall
7-8 lbs/1,000 sq. ft.

Before the below happened

Sprayed glyphosate round up red cap
Waited 1 hr
Dropped seed
Dropped Scott’s starter with mesotrione
Hand spread 3 bags of peat moss 3 cu ft each bag
Ran sprinklers

After shot

Will have 1 section left for next year, this tough to do with 2 dogs

Looking good! What was the issue with last year’s seed? I’m pretty SSSure(hint?) I know who you’re referring to, but I bought from them for my last renovation and was pleased, so I bought more this year for my new house. Still fallowing here, so I haven’t got it down yet, but now you have me a bit worried. lol

Will be tasting a piece of hurricane henri tomorrow in to Monday so put on the 48hr rain delay on my timer

I am on vacation left the sprinklers as originally setup. Did see that I had a heat wave since Sunday. Need to figure out why I have this thin area…

Removed fence, mowed and rearranged the sprinklers
