Dropped my first dose of SOP and Boron via Milo. First time applying micros with Milo, went exactly as Andy described...simple

Applied GrubEx last night. We received a good bit of rain today. I mowed for the eight time tonight. We’re putting our house up for sale next week, and I’m gonna miss this yard.

Applied some OceanGro last night before a bit of rain overnight. Lawn is booming right now!

Can't wait any longer for weather to cooperate - it's rained every 24-36 hrs for three weeks here. Going to have to get going with less-than-optimal conditions

Planted some Hostas, Ferns and Lillie’s in a shady corner. Planted flowers in four hanging baskets.

Re: 2019: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Sprayed glyphosate on what I hope is nimblewill or some sort of rogue grass and not poa trivialis. Its forming some lighter patches here and there and is a bit leggy. Too short for me to identify fully.
Kbg seeding.
KBG seedheads are coming.
Waiting for the glyphosate to dry on my spot sprays then hoping to blanket spray tenacity at a highlight rate. I will put some extra on a few untreated areas to see if it kills those light green spots like nimblewill.

Put down milo at bag rate with boron zinc and copper sulfates... Was a good deal of work to mix all that in shovel etc to cover a 30ksqf lawn. Stuff stinks a bit... Kids refused to be outside lol. I almost liked it considering it's good stuff going in. Didn't bother my nose.

I know you tend to mow low lately, but any closeup shots of this rogue grass? If so, could you post them to a thread somewhere? I'm curious what they look like. Thanks.HoosierLawnGnome wrote: ↑May 4th, 2019, 7:03 pmSprayed glyphosate on what I hope is nimblewill or some sort of rogue grass and not poa trivialis. Sprayed Tenacity @ roughly 4.2 oz / A to clean up some straggler weeds and poa from last years Bewitched reno in the front yard. Used a shovel to edge out mulch beds with the shrubs and hostas. Man, the yard is looking dark green already with the little bit of sun finally popping through

Spot sprayed CCO+tenacity and enjoyed walking around my yard. I enjoyed feeling the carpet underneath my feet - many thanks Around The Yard!

Re: 2019: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Finally a beautiful sunny day!
I finished edging and mulching my gardens.
Mowed the lawn! This is the second mow.
I don't think I have ever seen my front lawn this thick!
Apparently rain expected tomorrow night.
So milo and boron will go down tomorrow.
I won't talk about the backyard.

Mowed yard and sprayed serenade/kh mix with nu film 17 as sticker. This is second application two weeks apart. Today I could see early signs of red thread, so glad I started treating early. It’s been very rainy. I got in an application of cracked corn a week back.

Raised the deck to 2.5”. Mowed, edged, planted geraniums in barrel pots and set-up Tiki torches.

Re: 2019: What Did You Do On Your Lawn Today?
Before the third mow of the season (broke the 1/3 rule but the rain has been relentless), I picked up 10 bags of bay state at my local Agway in RI. They were on sale for $8.50 a bag; I figured pay that and save myself a 4 hour round trip drive and gas to Quincy. Baystate is also stocked at our local Ace. Unfortunately, as I expected, they’re pricing bay state at the same price as Milo.

Swapped out nozzles on my boom sprayer to air inducted nozzles. Too much drift with the flat, fine spray nozzles last night. Cleaned out filters.
